Japan- Tokyo Day 1

Argh so pissed off that I took 4000x3000 size pictures. Now I must slowly one by one upload via blogger's uploader.

So anyway this is my 5th (or is it 6th?) trip to Japan, and it was the best trip ever. I mean the other Japan trips were also good la, but not as awesome as this time round's.

Me and my parents took the plane on 26th Nov midnight and landed around 7am Japan time at Narita airport. My parents' friends came to pick us up aftermath and we had this paus and some tea when we reached their house.

I know you must be thinking, "Aiya they look like ordinary paus from hawker centres" but that's not true! It was sooooo much better than Singapore's. It's like once you set your teeth in you can taste the yummy pork fillings (i know i make no sense here) and even an anti-pork-pau me can't resist it!!!

After the paus we took a shower, had a small nap before heading out to buy some discounted tickets for......

Hello Kitty's Puroland!!!

The discount counters sell this tickets for only 2500
¥ (S$40) whereas the counter in Puroland sells the exact same one at 3000¥ (S$48). We were lucky enough to get them because from what we heard from my parents' friends, the counter were left with only 3 tickets!

Oh btw, my parents' friends are Japanese. The lady can speak and understand English and her husband understands Chinese while me and my parents do not even understand a single thing they say in Japanese except for "tai-jio-bu" which means "are you fine?" and some other simple Jap words.

Me at the discount store!

Me and my mummy ♥

After purchasing the tickets, my parents' friends left for home while me and my parents walked around before going home for early dinner at 5:30PM Japan time (aka 4:30PM SG time). Went to some convenient store and they sell really cheap stuff! For eg, the liese bubble wash was only less than S$10 wheras SG sells it for S$19.90. WTF right?!?!?! Found some cute stuff too:

Hello Kitty facial wash and masks!!!! Do they even sell this in SG?! I just realized the people there are huge fans of Hello Kitty and Disney. They even have Disney parades to celebrate the new Japan train line Aomori. SG should have some parades to celebrate circle line too HAHAHA VERY FUNNY

(Me and my parents having crepes)

At first we had such difficulty ordering such a simple thing (ironic much) due to language barrier. Luckily we still ordered the correct one after 10 friggin minutes and it tasted delicious. (hehehe i love crepes many many)

Tempura afterwards due to dad's craving. The boss was so nice to give us an extra tempura!
Then, food again once we reach home. We have to admit we are gluttons, zomg.

I love her sukiyaki! Not so salty, just nice those kind sia. (how i miss their food i don't mind gaining more weight to eat it again)

Then we went out again.

Pig slippers!

So adorableeeee

The vegetables in the market were so fresh and cheap! I bet my mum would love to stay in Japan forever for the sake of the supermarkets there LOL

Mister donuts~

My dad rejoicing over his ramen HAHA

After that we went back for a day's rest and shall blog about day 2 next time! :)
